About Gg

We are Gorgeous Glo, Charlotte’s first custom organic spray tan boutique. We also offer blowouts, mobile beauty, and bridal services. We provide an exceptional level of attention to detail in all we do, and we welcome you as part of the Gg family.

Our signature services are our custom spray tans, providing nourishing, organic tans year round with zero exposure to UVA or UVB rays. Our owner Anne Pipkin was inspired to provide her community with a safe alternative to tanning after her father passed away from melanoma in 2000.

Thanks to Gorgeous Glo, our community is more aware of the dangers of melanoma, and the ease with which it can be prevented. We aim to help others feel their “Gg” best, a beauty that is so much more than skin deep. It is one of the many reasons we support melanoma research. We donate a percentage of our sales to the Levine Cancer Institute and other skin cancer research programs each year.

We host a variety of annual events supporting women entrepreneurs. Each fall, we donate our SouthPark salon’s space to showcase a panel of our admired fellow local woman entrepreneurs, and we highlight women from a wide array of backgrounds and industries throughout the year on our media platforms.

The encouragement and support Gorgeous Glo owner Anne Pipkin has received in Charlotte drives her to pay it forward on a daily basis.

    Alisabeth, a mother of two young children, has been with Gg since 2014. As the Director of Operations, she has deep knowledge of each of our services and creates hair styling and spray tanning magic! Talented, personable, and full of industry know-how, her services are highly sought after by our Gg clients.

    Catherine (happily for all of us!) incorporates elements of her personal life into her Gg life. As a working artist, she understands color placement, contouring, and attention to detail. As a mother of four with a caretaker instinct, she constantly seeks to ensure that your spray tan is perfect! She has been with Gg since 2012 and continues to amaze our clients with her spray tanning abilities.

    Donna's huge client base raves about her personal service—and for good reason. A native Charlottean, she has been with Gg since 2011, and has extensive experience as both a sprayer and a customer service manager.     Emily is one of our most senior managers, having been with Gg for more than a decade. She grew up in Charlotte and is passionate about the industry and her craft. She is a loyal and multi-talented perfectionist in both the hairstyling and spray tanning fields, and her many deep client relationships bring her joy.

    We are thrilled to have Evelyn on our spray tanning team. A native of Boston, Evelyn spent time in Nashville before moving to the Queen City a few years ago. Her friendly enthusiasm for clients and natural expertise in making skin beautiful is a winning combination for Gg spray tan clients.

As a licensed esthetician, she uses her skills to provide Gg’s brow and lash services, as well as our Japanese head spa services.  She is also one of our coveted makeup artists, who uses her professional talents to enhance each client’s natural beauty. Her extensive background and friendly nature makes her a superb spray tanner, whether in our salons or at our clients’ homes.
